What does an AI voice companion do?: It holds a spoken conversation with you: you talk, it listens and replies aloud, keeping track of what was said earlier in the conversation.
Do I need to install an app?: No. Mina runs in a normal mobile or desktop browser, so there is nothing to download.
Why does my browser ask for microphone permission?: Voice conversation needs to hear you. If you prefer not to allow it, you can use Mina entirely by typing instead.
Can I switch between speaking and typing?: Yes. Both appear in the same thread, so you can start by voice and finish by text without losing context.
Is Mina a replacement for talking to people?: No, and she will not pretend to be. Mina is good company and a good listener, but she is not a substitute for friends, family or professional support.
